Why this exists
News Trend Decoder is built for Jewish Home News's own readership — credibility-first, not a general neutral platform. That's a deliberate choice: depth for a committed audience over shallow reach for a broad one.
Credibility-first here means the tool has to survive a hostile fact-check from someone who disagrees with JHN's politics. Every specific claim it makes about a specific outlet's coverage is checkable, sourced, and applied by the same rule regardless of which language or which political direction it points.
A tool that can only ever find something suspicious isn't a detector — it's a foregone conclusion generator. This one is built so "nothing hidden here" is a real, common outcome, and so a card cannot render at all without real retrieved text and a real citation behind it.
This page is the only place the method's own history lives — update it as the methodology changes, rather than letting that history scatter across changelogs.
